Hello Blog readers, well, I had my appointment with Mayo Friday, and I was very happy with it. The Doctor did find though that the swelling of the legs and feet are me beginning to retain water. So he put me on a pill to hopefully minimize the swelling. But he did say that it is a part of liver disease. The visit to Mayo was short but sweet. I had a good talk with my Doctor, and he is pleased at how well I have handled things this far. So I won't need to go up for another 3 weeks. This update is short, but I thought I should do a quick update.

Hello, I know I have not updated for a while, so here is the latest. Yes I am still waiting on a Liver, but I am pretty close to the top of the Transplant list, so hopefully it will be soon. The last time I was at Mayo, I had been very tired a lot, even being on the new med that they gave for the Ammonia, I was still having to take a few naps a day. Well the last time I was there, wich was 3 weeks ago, the Doctor told me that my Potassium was getting low, so he put me one, what I call a horse pill, to give me more Potassium, and seeing that I don't like Bananas, he said to drink Orange juice. Ever since then, I have gone many days without the need for a nap, I was so proud of myself the first day I noticed that I didn't need one. There are days that I will need one, like right after I go shopping with Jin-nee at the mall, the little feet and legs that I have get tired more often, so then a nap is needed but we only do the shopping thing once in a while. But now I am awake and can spend time with My Punky Bear who is going to be 3 already this month and his little brother who I have nick named, Baby Boy. The more I get to know this little man, the more he melts my heart, just like his big brother did and still does. I will return to Mayo for a follow up on March the 7th, and then we will see how things are going. I have also been banned from driving again, but I guess it is for the best.
